We Don’t Create, We Destroy: Redesigning Our Creative Website and Transforming Its Concept

A Fresh Start for a Creative Website
For over 15 years, Chipsa has experienced constant evolution. Our design studio has always been on the move, rethinking how we express our work—both through practical projects and the visuals that represent us. We believe a creative website should mirror our current vision and convey who we are.
Our previous site, launched in 2019, earned a “Site of the Day” award on CSS Design Awards. It was a milestone moment for us. But since then, we’ve branched out—delving into 3D modeling, interface design, and branding. We had too many fresh ideas to keep the old site. So, we decided to craft a new creative website that captures the full spectrum of our capabilities.
The redesign took over a year, partly because we fit it around our client work. The upside? Having extra time spurred fresh ideas. Sure, it made the process longer, but it allowed us to refine our core message and brand identity in ways we never anticipated.

The Core Concept: The “Chipsa”
Building a creative website for ourselves turned out to be more challenging than any client project. When you have a diverse team of experts, everyone has a different vision of what the brand’s digital home should look like. Plus, you know everything about your own brand, so deciding what’s essential to include can be tricky.
During the process, we realized our positioning was just as crucial as the website design. Sometimes, a striking visual element perfectly reflects a deeper idea. In our case, that detail is a 3D “chips” figure with a stone-like texture. When you hover over it, it crumbles—a symbolic nod to our new direction.
Our old slogan was “We create websites unlike any others.” But times change, and we wanted a tagline that truly spoke to our vision of a creative website. Observing our industry, we noticed that most studios emphasize words like “build,” “create,” and “innovate.” We wanted something that broke the mold—something that embraced both creation and destruction.
“Destroy” may sound negative, but we see it as an essential step before creation. So, we settled on: “We help companies create the future by destroying stereotypes, templates, and boundaries.” It’s memorable, energetic, and highlights our perspective: to build something new, you first have to tear down the old.
That’s where the crumbling 3D chips element comes in. Composed of countless fragments, it disintegrates under the cursor but reassembles into a seamless whole. It symbolizes how our creative website approach shatters conventional thinking and rebuilds it better.
Merging Ideas and Aesthetics
Our updated manifesto stems from a belief in blending cutting-edge tech with artistry. In practice, this means:
Instant Impact: Drawing viewers in with interactive and mesmerizing visuals.
Idea-Driven Design: Using powerful visuals to communicate deeper emotions and meanings.
Detail-Oriented Execution: Ensuring every feature is not only responsive but distinctive.
Unique User Interfaces: Standing out from the crowd with fresh layouts and purposeful design.
Immersive 3D Spaces: Harnessing three-dimensional environments to redefine what a creative website can be.
All-Encompassing Content: From CGI and AI-driven graphics to text, video, and audio, we deliver holistic results.
Comprehensive content. We create a high-quality CGI graph, use AI, write texts, make videos and audio.
Our Showreel Got a Makeover, Too
Over the last two years, we accumulated a ton of new, exciting projects that deserved their own spotlight. Rather than produce a standard showreel, we opted for a narrative-based presentation. It highlights our strengths through storytelling, aligning perfectly with our creative website redesign.
